GENERAL COLLECTION  & USE OF PERSONAL DATA

The Keokuk Area Community Foundation collects and uses personal information such as: name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address when a donor voluntarily provides it to us. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used in our development and communication activities. The Keokuk Area Community Foundation does NOT sell, trade, or share its donor list with any other organization.

 

Keeping your personal information secure is one of our most important responsibilities. We value your trust and handle your personal information with care. Our employees access personal information about you when needed to maintain your accounts or otherwise meet your needs. We may also access personal information about you when considering a request from you for additional services or when exercising our rights under the law or any agreement with you.

 

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We restrict access to personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal and state regulations to guard your personal information.  Lists of our donors, other than those published in the Annual Report, are not available to the public. We do not reveal the name of anonymous donors to the recipient of a grant.
