Scholarship Guidelines

The Bonnie and Carl Pflug Nursing Scholarship  awards scholarships to students pursuing a Nursing Degree or a Nurse Practitioner Degree from any accredited United States College or University.

 

Bonnie and Carl Pflug Nursing Scholarship Recipients must be a graduate of a Lee County Iowa High School. Lee County Iowa High Schools include Central Lee High School, Keokuk High School, Fort Madison High School, or Holy Trinity High School. Each Bonnie and Carl Pflug Nursing Scholarship is worth up to $1,000.00 a year.

Deadline / Agreement

The Bonnie and Carl Pflug Nursing Scholarship opens on January 2, 2025. The Bonnie and Carl Pflug Nursing Scholarship Deadline is April 14, 2025.

If awarded a Bonnie and Carl Pflug Nursing Scholarship, the student must submit a scholarship agreement. Instructions on how to complete the scholarship agreement will be in the scholarship award email. In the scholarship agreement, you will be asked to submit the following: proof of enrollment and a thank you letter for the donor. You have the option of submitting a photo that can be used when the Keokuk Area Community Foundation announces the scholarship recipients.

Scholarship checks will be issued to your college/university. If you’ve submitted your scholarship acceptance materials on time and correctly, your check will be issued in June of 2025 (unless other arrangements have been made).
