The Keokuk Area Community Foundation invests in local nonprofit organizations that contribute to improving the quality of life in our community. To apply for a grant from the Keokuk Area Community Foundation and North Lee Community Foundation, please read and follow the steps below:

1. Determine Organization Eligibility
​
To receive a grant from the Keokuk Area Community Foundation or North Lee Community Foundation, the organization must be a nonprofit organization with current 501(c)(3) status from the IRS.

2. Determine the Grant Cycle You Will Apply To

3. Create an Online Account
​
Grant Lifestyle Manager (GLM) by Foundant is our online grant management portal. In GLM, you can submit online applications, check the status of applications, review grant histories, and submit final reports. All users will need to create a new account in the new system. To create an account, go to GLM . Instructions to create a logon click here.

After logging into GLM, update the Organizational Profile. Do this before you begin the online application, as this information will automatically populate into your application.

4. Applying for a Grant in GLM

Click Apply to reach the Apply page which lists the available grant opportunities and details about each.

Click Preview for any grant opportunity on the page if you would like to view the first form without starting a grant request.

Click Apply for a grant opportunity when you are ready to start a request. You will arrive at the first form which is the grant application. If there is a deadline to submit the form, it is listed at the top of this page.

Complete the questions on the form.

Required questions are marked with an asterisk.

GLM automatically saves your work every 100 characters you type and when you click out of a question. You can click Save at any time.

Click Submit when you are ready to submit the form.

If you decide to withdraw your application before submitting it, click Abandon Request instead.

The system notifies you of any required questions that were missed. Complete those questions, and then click Submit again on the form.
Check the grant cycles calendar for deadline dates. All grant deadlines are 5:00 p.m. Central Time. You can review a list of submitted applications in GLM or download a copy for your records as needed.
